Central Queensland Tour.

Early July we were able to take a road trip to Central Queensland and check out what’s still left of the old CD railway from Gladstone, Rockhampton to Longreach and Winton.  Some true gems can still be found and provide inspiration for modelling.  Many of the building are still there, some in a rundown condition or are being used by others. Some old has been replaced with new. And on the other hand it good to see what being done today. You might even say it’s a different world out there.

Let’s get going in the Central Division Inspection Rail Motor for a tour of the CD.

RM 16 is on display in the Rockhampton Railway Station for all to see.

Just a one PN loco in the yard.
