Brisbane Model Train Show 2024

The 46^th Brisbane Model Train Show was held on the 4^th and 5^th of May 2024. Brisbane Show Ground Exhibition building being the venue, the same location for the past few years. 

Adults $ 18.00, Concessions $ 12.00 and children under 16 Free.  

Being the Labour Day long weekend there was a number of other activates on around town including a large event at the Ipswich Rail Workshop Museum. 1000 clicks away, the Great Train Show was on at Rosehill in Sydney knocking out some of the regular interstate traders.  

The show guide showed 3 Historical exhibitors, 56 Layouts and displays and 20 Traders.

IDR HO scale SX Cars, Southern Rail OLO Tank Wagons. Also on display was PGC 32ft. Tank Wagons. I spent to much time talking to take photos.

2025 will see a venue change, AMRA Qld has used the location for 42 years, the building has been leased for another event next year. Great world we live in today, so much for looking after a long term customer.       

 Sunday we jumped on a plane and went to the Rosehill “Great Train Show” in Sydney. Hope to have them up early next week.
